Yawn...stretch....ahhhh.

This morning I took a 6am yoga class. It was fantastic! I was already a bit sore from the class last night – it’s my first time back in about 2 months. Every time I plan to go, something happens that prevents me from actually getting there. But yesterday I had success. And this mornings class really helped me stretch out the sore muscles from last nights class. I think this little early morning indulgence might have to become a habit.

The only downside is that it makes my disdain for public restrooms and showers rear its ugly head. Ugh. When I say that I skeeve taking a shower in a place that isnt in a home (and a clean one at that, I must clarify) Im not kidding. I almost get anxiety thinking about showering in flip flops and that awful gushy feeling of walking in them wet. Of course, the alternative is risking catching some awful foot disease so either way its all bad. I dont know how professional athletes do it. Although, Im inclined to think that Patriots/Celtics and Red Sox players have pretty cush locker rooms.

Speaking of the Soxhow about my boy Manny giving the big F-You to all those people on WEEI talking trash about him yesterday. Saying hes washed up, to trade him and how he cant hit a fast ball? Yes, I do believe that was high heat that he hit a home run off of. Im sorry, I was furious yesterday listening to it all and I have a complete rant about it but Im saving it for tomorrow when I rant about both he and Jason and how the media is just awful about determing their playability and value right now. I cant even stand to listen to sports radio right now.

Found a new lip gloss that Im really liking the feel and color of but not so much digging the price and / or applicator. Stilas Minty Mint. Its clear with a light gold sheen (looks nothing like the color in the bottle; its almost a sheer matte which of course we all know I love love love). And yesterday I very briefly hit Ann Taylor Loft where I found some really pretty tops yet none of them fit me quite right. Im rather petite and even the smallest size petite they carry doesnt quite fit me right in the shoulders. And these kinds of tops really need to fit right in the shoulders. So I was a little disappointed with that jaunt. But who knows..I think Ann Taylor proper might have some tops that will do the trick! I saw some the other night at the mall but didnt have the time to try anything on, so maybe.

If I can sneak away for a little retail therapy tomorrow at lunch just to run right in and right back out again it may be worth it.

Retail therapy is truly the best type of therapy there is! ;)

I am a total retail therapy gal! I know it well. If you love the shirt enough tailoring is a great option.

I'm with you on the whole morning yoga thing! I get to the gym for the 6:30 class 2-3 times a week and on the other days do 30 min from a DVD @ home. It's better than caffeine!
