Tonight is the big night in Hollywood - the Academy Awards.
I've got to be honest - this is going to be the first one in a few years that I'm going to watch.
Partly because there hadn't been any fantastic movies nominated prior to this year; and partly because it just gets me a little misty eyed thinking "I coulda been a contender.....".
Yup. You can take the girl away from the dream - but you can't take the dream away from the girl.

I've never been too interested in the oscars other than the red carpet!! Love to see all the glitz and glamour. But I'm always so disappointed with the nominations and winners so I usually don't bother.
