15 minutes of fame....

I've had a few "15 minutes" in my life. Not Hollywood celebrity crazy 15 minutes - but local publicity kind of 15 minutes.

On Monday - I'll get to have 20 minutes more.

Those of you who live in Boston (and probably greater MA) can hear me on WRKO 680's "Taste of Boston Tonight" show, on Monday night! I got an email yesterday asking if I could be on Monday at 8pm to do a live wine tasting on air.

HELLO!! Could I be available????
Clearly they don't know who they're asking.
Absolutely! I can be available every night of the week if they want.
Because I'm so "shy."
NOT.

I'm so excited - I can't stand it!

Now if only I could find a way to do a live tasting on television.......

Wow, congrats, Rebecca! This is so neat. Wish I could somehow tune in and hear you. Maybe you could record it, then post it later on your blog? (If you know how to do that you're way ahead of me!!!)

Sorry I haven't been on here for so long. My life has been so hectic and I've just been hitting and missing blogs, mine included.

Should I say, "Break a leg" or "Break a glass?!" Either way, hope it goes great for you!

WOW! A real celebrity.....wish I could hear you on the radio....drink extra wine for all of us readers! Congrats!

PS: My usual granddaughter got 2 hamsters for her 11th birthday last Fri. from her Mom and named them "Peanut Butter" and "Jelly"! I haven't seen them yet.

Well, I guess I'll just have to tune in on Monday night, won't I? RKO isn't my usual station except when the Celtics are playing and I can't watch on TV.
...Will there be a call in portion of the show while you're on the air?
...Thanks for the comments at my place.

For those who aren't in transmission reach of Boston, there is a site that allows you pick up virtually in radio station in the contiguous United States. I'm sorry, but I had it written down and not linked, so I don't remember or have the URL. I'm sure it can be googled.

I may have to find the webcast.

Dude, call the Food Network! Get yourself on the TV! That would be so cute. BWH has an excellent idea. If they have a webcast, I'm finding it.

Hey Guys!
Jees, I hope there's no call in portion! hahaha. I have to admit, I'm a little nervous.

I posted the wrong link - that was to the "taste of boston" they have on the common - here's the show's site: http://www.tasteofbostontonight.com

I'm trying to think of how to record it, because I guess you can Podcast it? Whatever that means, since I don't use IPods. ;)

The days of using traditional tape recorders are over, so I'm going to have to figure something out. :)

If you get to hear it somehow via the web - let me know!!! :)

Oh, like on the TODAY show. It would be awesome to pitch that as part of the Today Throws A Wedding Series.......you know, how to pair wines at your reception....

Ha ha ha!!!

Have fun you STAR you... can't wait to hear all about it.

I'm so far behind on blogging, but I wanted to be the first to ask how the show went? Obviously I wasn't any where near the first to wish you luck.
