I'm sensing a theme here....

Good thing I love Chinese food, because clearly - I'm representational of it today. Chinese food is one of those things that I can eat every single day. Truly. (though I don't know that I'm digging the references of people being "sick of me"...eh, you have to take the good with the bad, right?) And I'm so critical of what is "good" Chinese food. I think that unless you've been to Boston and had takeout here, you probably haven't had really good Chinese take out. I've travelled throughout the country, and no place had Chinese food that even came close. San Francisco's Chinatown was excellent...but for takeout, nothing touches Boston and it's immediate suburbs. Trust me.... and if you don't believe me - ask anyone who's moved from this area. They'll tell you!

You Are Chinese Food

Exotic yet ordinary.
People think they've had enough of you, but they're back for more in an hour.

You Are a Fortune Cookie

You're a rather normal person, except that you have extraordinary luck in life.
People want to be around you (even when they're a little sick of you), in hopes of being lucky too!

It's absolutely true. Boston and the surrounding suburbs have great Chinese restaurants in numbers unmateched anywhere else. Why this is, I have little idea.

Have you ever tried getting Chinese take-out in New Hampshire? Ugh.

What's your favorite place in the area? I'm curious to see if we have the same place in mind....

I used to love Chinese food but I just can't seem to find any I like in my area. :(

Lloyd - that's cuz you're in NH, further proving my point. :)

Glitter: It really depends. In Malden, there's so many to choose from! In Saugus, the one in Pace's plaza has the best; Wakefield - there's one on Lowell Street that's pretty good; in my town where I live now, its really hit or miss, it depends on who's cooking it. The further away from Boston proper you go - the "iffier" the food is... :)

Where were you thinking?

I was thinking Out of Asia or Kowloon in Saugus. : )

I can't find a good one in Malden or Melrose either....
