I might even do something crazy and schedule an audition or two while I'm there, should something be available. Because you know....you can take the girl away from the dreams, but you can never take the dreams away from the girl!

Mine doesn't surprise me--Greenwich Village with the Bohemians who still like it a little upscale. And that would actually be my favorite part of NY--where many of my friends live!

I love NY - I think I would be a Villager like Cheryl - maybe a writer sitting in a corner cafe just dreaming and watching my neighborhood change with the light during the day.
I hope you have a WONDERFUL time when you get your trip together. Playbill is a wonderful resource for the theaters... Avenue Q is the new hot ticket, plus Blythe Danner is going to do Suddenly Last Summer I think this Spring, or perhaps even now.
