My laptop died last night.
So sad. This is my 2d one in two years.
Seriously.
I loved my Toshiba; though truthfully I'm thinking of switching to a Dell because I haven't heard of many Dells dying... or possibly an HP. My desktop (which I'm on right now) is an HP and I've never had any issues with it whatsoever.
The only thing is, I can't get to the store before New Years Day; so I may have to order it online and have it shipped.
Hopefully I can get it before New Year's Eve....
Unbelievable as to how disconnected I feel without it.

You won't find most Dells in the store anyway! I have had 2 Dells...On my second one.
And, I ended up ordering another Toshiba. I truly loved mine - and apples to apples - I'm getting a better deal with it. Picking it up tomorrow, thankfully... :) My Dad said stay away from Dell too. I guess he knows a few people that have had issue with them also. I guess this is what warrantees are for, eh? ;)
I actually had very good luck with my Dell but two years ago for my birthday, I got a Compaq Presario which *love*. I hope your new one works out for you!
