By the time I was a senior in high school, the comparisons moved on from Roseanna to "Felicia". General Hospital was out of the "Luke and Laura" phase and full swing in the "Frisco and Felicia" movement. Now THIS was a comparison I thoroughly enjoyed. And while I still didn't see much of a resemblence, to be thought of as looking like Kristina Malandaro's little sister wasn't too terrible on the ears.
And now, I often hear that I resemble another celebrity. Again, it's not something that I can really see...outside of having high cheekbones - but again, she's not too terribly hard on the eyes, so I'll take it: Sienna Miller. Well, I like her name anyway!
I've sort of always thought that I looked like...well, I don't know...me!
(I did have some really great photos of all of these girls to post, but Blogger isn't cooperating for some reason!)
Have you ever been told you resemble someone famous? And if so....who?

Seeing "Stars".....
When I was about 14, the movie "Desperately Seeking Susan" came out. It launched a little known actress - Roseanna Arquette -into becoming a house hold name. It also started the beginning of having everyone tell me how much I looked like her. I even had strangers telling me that. I didn't find it very flattering because I didn't think she was that pretty - but, it still was kind of cool. I don't think we necessarily look alike, but I do see a resemblence at times....from a distance, and at an angle. (And from a tree, across a brook, on a rainy day!)

Love General Hospital!!! LOVE.
I've always thought Felicia was GOR-GEOUS!!!! (too bad she's left the show)
I've watched GH for 20 years...off and on...currently on (SoapNet is a GODsend!) :)
In middle school and high school I was always told I looked like Alyssa Milano....Samantha from "Who's the Boss." I never really agreed but I wasn't gonna argue! I always thought she was quite attractive!
However, it's been a very long time since anyone's told me that.
As you can guess from my pic a few people told me I looked like Jerry O'Connell and I take offence if people don't like him.
Funny- I've met both Roseanna Arquette and Kristina Malandro, but I'm not all that familiar with Sienna Miller except I know Jude Law cheated on her. I see the resemblance with the first two, though. Roseanna almost never took her sunglasses off (even inside)...ummm...I'll leave it at that. Kristina Malandro, though, is the kid of woman who has so much charisma and spark that you can't take your eyes off her when she's in the room. I can certainly see you being that way!
When I was growing up, I was told I looked like Melissa Sue Anderson, who played Mary on "Little House on the Prairie." Back in the "Jerry McGuire" days, I used to get Renee Zellweger.
Chesney Girl - AM is one of my husbands all time favorite "hotties". ;) Not a bad comparison to be made!
Ben - personally, I think you're far cuter than "The Cush"... he's too skinny!!!
Cheryl - I could see the MSA, from the few pictures you've shown us! I used to think she was so pretty...I used to pretend I was Mary all the time as a kid! hahaha. And I think you are FAR PRETTIER than Renee. ;)
I wish I could get blogger to post those pics!!!
They used to say I looked a bit like Jack Palance. I never did figure out if that was good or bad.
You ARE a star... how've you been? hope all is well and you're enjoying the weather!!!
I absolutely love(d) desperately seeking susan!
Rebecca, you just look like Rebecca to me - and that is a lovely thing to be. :)
I've been most often compared to Lita Ford (remember her, my fellow 80's rocker chick?) but lately a few people have told me I look like Angelina Jolie. I don't see it, but if they think so, I won't argue. ;D
I've been told Winona Ryder and Amanda Peet most recently.
I just think I look like me!
You so look better than Rosanna Arquette. I've never been told I look like anyone. Guess that might be a good thing.
I don't know what it means that when I was growing up, I was always told I looked like my best friends. When asked (at separate times, with the separate girls), "Are you two sisters?" we started saying "YES! We're TWINS!" But no movie or TV stars, like you. :-)
I think Kristina Malandra is a stunner--I'm envious that you got that comparison. But for those who bemoan her being off GH--she didn't "leave," she was PUSHED. Bummer.
Right after Ring of Fire came out, I started to get barraged with the Matthew Mc....... remarks. We are the same age. Now I'm fat and he aint. He even has the hairline that I would if I used rogaine..... Insert laghter.....
you look a bit like an aging Joni Mitchell to me--acting warrants updating one's look to match the trends, right? what's with that hair, girlfriend?
hahaha, good call Shirley - outside of the fact that Joni Mitchell looked old even when she was young. I didn't know straight hair was out of date - but hey - to each their own, right? And no, acting doesn't warrant keeping up to date - it requires being able to be a chameleon and modify. But thanks for stopping by - feel free to come by again. I'll try to look younger for ya!
I don't know if I want to admit this, but people either think I look like Haley Mills or Debbie Gibson. AAAH!
People always tell us my husband looks like Keifer Sutherland.
POLLYANNA Haley Mills? :} *Giggle*
Mr. Naive does look like Keifer ... and the not-bald guy on Mythbusters too, I think ;).
Clew, yes we get the myth busters guy ALL the time. It's funny because the next house we are building - that guy looks just like the other one on Myth Busters. They could have some fun with that at the bar.
Hey R, don't mind us. :)
