Feeling like I'm going to cry...

Sorry blogosphere.
This girl has been flat out with pneumonia since Tuesday, and at the rate this is going--I can't imagine being better in the immediate.

Partly because the antibiotic the doctor prescribed is killing me with side effects; so I begged him to switch me to something else.

Fingers crossed that it works. I wouldn't wish this on anyone...

Oof. I have had pneumonia twice. It is THE PITS. I hope you start to feel on the up-swing soon, though if you're anything like me, when I had it, I didn't feel myself for a good long while. And I still have to be careful when I get a cold, lest it settle in my chest and become a rattly persistent cough for the rest of time. (I sleep propped up the second I feel a cold coming now. And it's been 15 years since the last time I had pneumonia. The first time was in 1993, my junior year of high school. I can still remember feeling like my chest was in a vice and hearing the air whistle in and out of my lungs as I tried to breathe. The second bout, I decided to have a side of bronchitis along with it. Freaking overachiever.)

So sorry you are sick. Take it easy and rest. Being sick is no fun!

Actually, the pneumonia I can deal with - the side effects of the antibiotic they gave me, it was worse than the sickness!! :( Never, ever again....
